Sunscreen can be made using natural oils, and the method is as follows:

  • Mix half a cup of olive oil, or almond oil, with a quarter cup of coconut oil.
  • Add one teaspoon of red raspberry oil, one teaspoon of carrot seed oil, one teaspoon of vitamin E oil, and two tablespoons of shea butter.
  • All previous ingredients must be melted before preparing the recipe.
  • Add a quarter cup of beeswax, and mix the ingredients together well.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of cold zinc oxide, and stir to combine.

Sunscreen using aloe vera

You can prepare a sunscreen against the harmful rays of the sun using aloe vera gel. This recipe is effective for sun protection, especially after swimming. The method is as follows:

  • Add 5 teaspoons of zinc oxide gradually.
  • Heat half a cup of distilled water with a tablespoon of aloe vera gel in a small bowl until it is warm.
  • Slowly add the aloe vera mixture over the zinc oxide mixture.
  • Store sunscreen in a container in the refrigerator.

  • Use a high-concentration sun protection product that protects against sunlight and ultraviolet rays (UVB) throughout the year, and the protection rate (SPF) must not be less than 30%.
  • Avoid exposure to sunlight between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., especially when ultraviolet (UVB) rays are strongest.
  • Reapply sunscreen every 80 minutes, or when you feel excessive sweating.
  • Wear a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses that block both long-range and short-range UVB rays to cover the skin exposed to the sun as much as possible.
