How to make watercress salad

Watercress is considered a vegetable source rich in antioxidants. It is also a diuretic, helps in the digestion process, and is useful in treating anemia. It is rich in iron, and is also useful in strengthening bones and protecting them from osteoporosis. Therefore, it is rich in calcium, and It also contains vitamin A, vitamin C and vitamin B. It also helps people who suffer from excess obesity to lose weight and follow a diet to lose weight. Watercress is included in many foods, especially salads, including:

 

Watercress salad

the ingredients:

  • Two bunches of watercress.
  • Two medium-sized tomatoes.
  • A small slice of onion.
  • Two slices of cucumber.
  • Half a cup of walnuts (walnuts).
  • half cup of olive oil.
  • Three tablespoons of white vinegar.
  • Three tablespoons of lemon juice.
  • A tablespoon of pomegranate molasses.
  • Half a teaspoon of salt.
  • quarter tea spoon of black Peper.
  • Half a teaspoon of sumac.
  • Half a teaspoon of chili.

How to prepare:

  • Wash the watercress, wrap it in a towel dampened with water, and place it in the refrigerator until it regains its glasses.
  • Place the watercress in a serving dish.
  • Place the onion, tomato, and cucumber slices on top of the arugula.
  • Distribute the walnuts over this mixture.
  • To prepare the salad dressing, put the oil, lemon juice, pomegranate molasses, white vinegar, chili pepper, salt, and sumac in a jar, and shake it slightly until the dressing is ready.
  • Distribute the dressing evenly over the salad and serve.

Arugula salad with parmesan cheese

the ingredients:

  • Two cups of washed and cleaned watercress.
  • Two tablespoons of grated Parmesan.
  • Half a cup of fresh mushrooms.
  • Three tablespoons of olive oil.
