The ruling of Ayed al-Qarni

Ayed bin Abdullah Al-Qarni was born in 1959. He was born in the village of Al Shuraih in the Balqarn Governorate in the south of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He is a Saudi Islamic preacher. He was an imam and preacher at the Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Mosque in the city of Abha. He has many audio sermons, lectures, poetry evenings, and literary seminars. Here are some of his famous sayings:

  • O poor man: have great patience, for you have been spared the consequences of money, the service of wealth, the trouble of collecting, the hardship of guarding and serving money, and a long reckoning with God.
  • O you who have lost your sight: give good tidings of Paradise as the price for your sight, and know that you have displayed light in your heart, and have been spared from seeing evil things, and watching annoying things and distractions.
  • O sick person: Purify yourself, God willing, for you have been cleansed of sins, cleansed of sins, your heart has been polished, your soul has been broken, and your arrogance and arrogance have gone.
  • Why do you think about what is lost and do not give thanks for what is present, forget the present blessing, bemoan the absent blessing, envy people and neglect what you have?

There must be some illness that reminds you of well-being, and uproots the tree of arrogance and arrogance, in order for your heart to awaken from the sleep of the heedless.

  • Be like an ant in perseverance, for it climbs the tree a hundred times, falls, and then comes back up until it reaches it, and it never tires or gets bored.
  • And be like a bee, it eats perfume and deposits perfume, and if it falls on a stick it does not break it and on a flower it does not scratch it.
  • The sweat of a worker is purer than the musk of a sedentary person, the sighs of a laborer are more beautiful than the chants of a lazy person, and the loaf of a hungry person is more delicious than the sheep of a wealthy person.
  • Do not be afraid of difficulties, for the lion faces a herd of camels without fear. Do not be afraid of troubles, for the donkey carries burdens and does not groan. Do not be weary of your demands, for the dog chases its prey, even in fire.
  • Do not think that infirmities prevent you from reaching your goals. How many virtuous people have attained glory when they are blind, deaf, paralyzed, or lame? The issue is a matter of determination, not bodies.
  • It may be that His forbidding you, Glory be to Him, is a gift, and His restraining you from your desire is kindness, and your delaying from what you want is a care, for He sees you from you.
  • If you are visited by hardship, know that it is a summer cloud that clears up shortly, and its thunder does not frighten you, nor does its lightning frighten you, for perhaps it was laden with rain.

The blind wishes to see the world, the deaf wishes to hear sounds, the cripple wishes to walk steps, the mute wishes to say words, and you watch, hear and speak.

  • Do not think that life is complete for anyone. He who has a house does not have a car, he who has a wife does not have a job, he who has an appetite may not find food, and he who has food may be prevented from eating.
  • The bird does not receive its sustenance in the nest, the lion does not offer it its meal in the den, and the ant does not give its food in its dwelling, but all of them seek and search, so ask as they asked and you will find as they found.
  • Every tragedy that befalls you is an unforgettable lesson, and every calamity that befalls you is engraved in your memory, and that is why these are the texts that remain in the mind.
  • Congratulations to the one who slept while the people prayed for him, and woe to the one who slept while the people prayed for him, good news for the Mona whom hearts loved, and loss for the one who was cursed by tongues.
