Fats
Fat in the human body is considered one of the beneficial elements to a good extent in the human body, as it provides the person with the energy that his body needs, and it is possible for the human body to consume it directly, and it is also possible to store it in certain places in the body until it is needed, and this is the secret. The suffering of some people, as the increased accumulation of fat in the human body ultimately leads to its accumulation in a way that harms the person, and causes him to suffer from obesity, which has undesirable consequences.
There are two types of fats: animal fats and vegetable fats. Humans obtain the first type from many sources, including meat, butter, milk, and others, while the second type of fats are obtained from various sources, including sesame, olives, cotton, corn, and sunflower seeds. Sun, soybeans, walnuts, almonds, etc. are elements.
How to calculate body fat percentage
As for the amount of fat that a person should eat, it is an amount that cannot be determined precisely, but what is roughly known is that an adult person should eat approximately between fifteen and thirty-five grams of fat per day, but this depends mainly on the amount of fat that a person should eat. Many factors, most notably the amount of energy a person needs daily. A person usually needs to know the percentage of fat in his body, and for this reason several methods have been devised to help achieve this goal, including:

This method is known as hydrostatic weighing, and the weight of body fat can be measured by immersing the human body in water, and then measuring the entire amount of water that has been displaced. This method of measuring body fat percentage is more expensive than other methods.
Infrared method
Fat is measured by shining a beam of infrared rays on the body, so that these rays are reflected from the muscles while being absorbed by the fat.
X-ray method
This method is considered one of the modern methods for measuring the percentage of fat in the human body, as it uses dual-emitting X-rays for this purpose, as one of them is absorbed more, and then the images are processed using a computer.
Average density
This method is based on the fact that fatty tissue in the human body has a lower density than both the body’s bones and muscles. Hence, two equations have been developed to calculate the average:
- Brozek's equation: Fat percentage=((4.57/density)-4.142)*100%.
- Siri formula: =((4.57/density)-4.50)*100%.
Through body mass index
The body mass index (mass/height squared) can be related through the following two equations:
