History of the municipality of Zeralda
The village of Zeralda was founded in the year one thousand eight hundred and forty-four AD. With three thousand people before independence, then in 1860 AD the city became affiliated under the authority of the Municipality of Cheraga, and in 1887 AD it became under the authority of the Municipality of Staoueli.
