  • Specialists and those with successful experiences advise planting the custard fruit tree in light loamy soil, provided that it is fertile and has good drainage. It can also be grown in clay, sandy, and calcareous soil, with the need to take care of fertilizing and irrigating it.
  • Dig the soil to a depth proportional to the length of the plant if we rely on the method of planting using the roots, and to a depth of ten centimeters if we rely on seeds.
  • Prepare the soil and fertilize it with an appropriate amount of fertilizer.
  • Irrigate the soil immediately after planting the plant, then irrigate it once every three days in the summer season, and once every two weeks in the winter season, as it is known that the cream fruit tolerates thirst.
  • The fruits reach maturity when their color turns light green. Some people pick them before that to ferment them, by placing them in a humid place and covering them for two or three days until the peel becomes soft.
