Create a new account on Yahoo
To create a new Yahoo account, you must follow these steps:
- Open the Yahoo website to create a new account: https://login.yahoo.com/account/create
- Fill out the fields with the required information, which includes: first name, last name, user name, which is your new email, the appropriate password, which must be difficult to guess, the phone number to be able to retrieve the email if you forget the password, date of birth, and specify gender.
- Read Yahoo's privacy policy and terms of use, then click (Continue).
- Click on the (Send a text message) option in order to receive a message on the phone that includes a code to confirm the validity of the phone number. You can choose (Make a phone call) instead of the (Send a text message) option. You will receive a call with an automated response that includes the code, then click on Confirm.
- Open the new account by clicking on Let's start using your new Yahoo account.
How to send a message on Yahoo
Text messages, photos, or video can be sent via Yahoo as follows:
- Log in to your Yahoo account by entering your username and password from the website: https://www.yahoo.com.
- Click on the word (Create a new message) in the upper right corner.
- Enter the email address of the person you wish to correspond with in the box designated for it, and the subject of the message.
- Enter the message text in the box below.
- Click on (Send) to complete the process of sending the message.
- Note: An image or file can be sent by clicking on the paper clip icon at the bottom of the screen, and a box will appear in which you can select the file or image to be attached, then click (Open).
Change your password on Yahoo
Your Yahoo account allows you to change your password by following these steps:

- Click on the Settings button located in the upper left corner, and choose from the drop-down list (Account Information) located at the bottom of the list.
- Click on the (Account Security) menu located on the right side of the account information page.
- Enter your account password in order to go to the (account security) page.
- Click on (Change Password) located at the top of the (Account Security) page.
- Enter the new password twice to ensure the password is correct, and the password change will take effect immediately.
