Create a group on WhatsApp on Android
You can create a WhatsApp group chat on Android devices through:
- Open the Chats tab in WhatsApp.
- Clicking on the menu, then choosing New group, or you can click on New chat, then choosing New group.
- Search for and select contacts to add to the group, then press the green arrow.
- Write a name in the group subject field so that it will be a name for the group, and a group icon can be added by clicking on an emoji, in addition to that a group icon can be added by clicking on the camera icon in order to use the camera, gallery or Search the web for an image mapping.
- Click on the green checkmark when done.
Create a group on WhatsApp on the iPhone
You can create a group on WhatsApp on iPhone devices through:
- Open the WhatsApp application from the home screen.
- Click on the Chats tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Click on New Group.
- Add group topic in text field also emoji can be included.
- Click on Next at the top right of the screen.
- Add contacts to the group by typing the contact's name in the text field.
- Scroll through the contact list and tap on the contact you want to add to the group.
- Click on Create at the top right of the screen to create a group chat.
Create a group video call
You can create a group for a group video call in WhatsApp through the following method:

- Click on the video camera icon at the top right of the screen.
- The video call will start automatically, and as soon as the recipient answers, you can click on the add user icon in the upper right corner.
- Select a second recipient to add to the call, and once added, a third recipient can be added.
