The Museum of Islamic Art houses artifacts that highlight the creative achievements of the Islamic world's richest cultures, spanning nearly a millennium.
The collection represents the full range of Islamic art in all media, from manuscripts to ceramics, metalwork, glass, stone, ivory, textiles, wood, gemstones and jewellery.
The permanent exhibition of approximately 850 artifacts provides an insight into the diverse art of the Islamic world.
Two floors are devoted to exploring historical eras and interpreting themes of Islamic art and material culture
