In Belgram, India, and his upbringing was in Zabid, Yemen, then he moved to the Hijaz, and resided in Egypt, and there he became famous and his position was distinguished, and he received many gifts and artifacts, and it was written by the kings of each of: Hijaz, India, Yemen, the Levant, Iraq, Al-Aqsa Morocco, and the Turk, Sudan, Algeria, and his death was in Egypt; Where he died after contracting the plague.

Crown of the bride

The Crown of the Bride is considered an explanation of the surrounding dictionary, and it is one of the dictionaries in the Arabic language, and Al-Jabarti mentioned on the authority of Al-Zubaidi saying: (Al-Zubaidi began writing his book The Crown of the Bride, and he continued to do so for several years, and the book ended with fourteen volumes, and after he finished its author, he held a big feast, He gathered the students of knowledge and the sheikhs of the time, and showed them the book, so they were delighted with it and testified to its grace and excellence in linguistics.

It is worth noting that The Crown of the Bride is the greatest book of the Arab heritage, the most important of which is in stature, and which kept it as a praiseworthy effect, as Al-Zubaidi was devoted to writing it with all sincerity, and he exerted great diligence in it, and it was the product of a number of linguistic dictionaries that preceded it, and he began writing it in 1174 AH, and finished it in 1188 AH. It is noteworthy that Al-Zubaidi continued to compose the first part of the book for six years and a few months, while the remaining nine parts he completed within seven years and a few months, and this indicates his great effort. He started a new business, collecting his material from several books.
