Najd or Al-Yamama, is one of the most important regions of the Arabian Peninsula. Today, the Najd region extends over a large area of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as it includes large parts of the Riyadh region, in addition to the regions of Hail and Al-Qassim in Saudi Arabia. In the past, Najd was home to the Kingdom of Kinda, Bani Asad, Bani Tamim, Tai', Ghatafan, and Bani Hanifa. Today, the Najd region is the original home of the House of Saud, the ruling family of Saudi Arabia. After the Najdis entered the religion of God Almighty, and after the death of the Messenger Muhammad - may God bless him and grant him peace - most of the Najdis apostatized from the religion of Islam, and the apostates who fought God and His Messenger appeared from it, so the claimants to the prophecy appeared, including Tulaiha bin Khuwaylid, Musailama Al-Hanafi, and Sajah, and Khalifa confronted them. The first Messenger of God Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq - may God be pleased with him - with the Companions of the Messenger of God who were steadfast in the face of the apostates and at the head of Khaled bin Al-Walid - may God be pleased with him - until they put an end to the rebellious movements and apostasy.

Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab and his doctrine and method are accused of extremism, firmness, bloodshed, and leniency in expiating Muslims. And after that, and after the matter was established, the Al Saud family became the official rulers who have the political authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. As for the religious authority, it belongs to the Sheikh family, and the Sheikh family are the sons of the dynasty of Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab.
Najd provinces
Najd has many different regions, including Jabal Al-Shamar, Al-Zulfi, Al-Washm, Aleyah Najd, Al-Mahmal, Al-Shuaib, Sudair, Al-Kharj, Al-Aradh, Al-Faraa, Al-Aflaj, Al-Tathleeth and Wadi Al-Dawasir. As for the climate in the Najd region, it is a continental climate that is hot in summer and cold in winter, and there is a very large and clear discrepancy between the upper and lower temperatures.
