The first Messenger of God Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq - may God be pleased with him - with the Companions of the Messenger of God who were steadfast in the face of the apostates and at the head of Khaled bin Al-Walid - may God be pleased with him - until they put an end to the rebellious movements and apostasy.

In the modern era, the Wahhabi call appeared from Najd, as its founder, Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab, came out of this region, and Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab is one of the Sunni religious scholars who has great importance to his followers, and he is famous for his fight against superstitions and heresies, and returning people to monotheism, and calling to God, Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab allied with Muhammad bin Saud, to spread this new Wahhabi call to the entire region. Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab and his doctrine and method are accused of extremism, firmness, bloodshed, and leniency in expiating Muslims. And after that, and after the matter was established, the Al Saud family became the official rulers who have the political authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. As for the religious authority, it belongs to the Sheikh family, and the Sheikh family are the sons of the dynasty of Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab.

Najd has many different regions, including Jabal Al-Shamar, Al-Zulfi, Al-Washm, Aleyah Najd, Al-Mahmal, Al-Shuaib, Sudair, Al-Kharj, Al-Aradh, Al-Faraa, Al-Aflaj, Al-Tathleeth and Wadi Al-Dawasir. As for the climate in the Najd region, it is a continental climate that is hot in summer and cold in winter, and there is a very large and clear discrepancy between the upper and lower temperatures.
