Siwa Oasis
The population of the Siwa Oasis is about 23.000 people and more, and most of them are of Berber origins, and their dialect is Siwi, and this language is classified among the group of languages belonging to the Berbers. History and archaeologists have discovered traces of human feet that are considered the oldest in the world in this oasis. It dates back to approximately 3 million years, and this discovery was made in 2007 AD. We also find in Siwa a Pharaonic temple, the Temple of Amun, which was known in the past for its practice of divination, in addition to an ancient archaeological castle. Siwa Oasis is located in the Arab Republic of Egypt, specifically in the middle between the Egyptian Sand Sea, located in the Western Desert, and the Qattara Depression. Siwa Oasis is about 560 square kilometers from the city of Cairo, the capital of Egypt, and about 50 square kilometers from the Libyan Jamahiriya, and about 300 square kilometers from the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, towards Marsa Matruh from the southwestern side. This oasis is administratively affiliated with Marsa Matrouh Governorate. We also find that there are several separate regions and oases administratively affiliated with this oasis, such as Al-Qara Oasis. In addition to this name, Siwa Oasis is known as Siwa Al-Balad.

Tourism in Siwa Oasis
There is very little tourism in Siwa Oasis, due to its distance from city centers and the capital, so tourists rarely visit it. As they have to travel long distances to reach it, this region may still be considered the most natural region of the Republic of Egypt until now. We point out that this area includes many animals belonging to the mammal family, as well as amphibians, reptiles, and many different types of birds, in addition to the fact that it includes many natural water springs that reach about 230 springs, and perhaps more, and it also contains a hot spring known as Ain Abu Sharouf.
