Moore Valley
The Moore Valley is considered one of the largest valleys of Tihama in the Yemeni state, and this valley is endowed with its fertile agricultural areas, so that the people of the city of Moore Valley are skilled in this work, and despite the abundance of agricultural crops in it, poverty is the dominant feature of its inhabitants.

The Mur Valley is located in the Republic of Yemen, where it is located on the western side with regard to the country of Hash, Jabal Yazid, Tawila, and Jabal Dhale’a, and also with regard to Al-Khabet, Al-Mahweet, Hajjah, Jabal Maswar, Saqeen, Kahlan, and Kashar. It ends south of the city of Al-Luhiyah, where its estuary is in the Red Sea.
The distance separating Wadi More from Hodeidah Governorate is one hundred kilometers, and the area of the basin in this valley is seven thousand five hundred square kilometers, and its length is three hundred kilometers.
In the past, this valley was one of the rivers flowing in the region, as it was heavily supplied with water from the heights known as Ammashih, located in the southwestern side of Saada, and also from the heights of Washha, in addition to the heights of Bilad Hashid and the heights of Kahlan.
Wadi La’a is considered one of the important tributaries of Wadi Al-Moor, as it flows in the northern side of Al-Luhiyah, as it penetrates the Tihama plain, and it is mentioned that the silt that forms on the edges of this valley is close in quality to the silt that forms in the great rivers in the Arab world. Like the Euphrates River and also the Jallah River, and some places in the Nile River, and that made the area of this valley a fertile area suitable for cultivation in an excellent way, and despite the scarcity of the waters tributary to this valley than it was in the past, but it suffers until now from the problem of torrential rains, as It often affects the infrastructure of the valley regions, and sometimes destroys it completely.

The village, which is located within the Moore Valley and bears his name, still suffers from poor services in it, as it is deprived to this day of the necessary services, which are represented by water and electricity, as its residents live a life steeped in simplicity, and water is transported to it by carrying it by animals to their homes .
As for the shape of the houses in it, it is still from the old mud houses, as well as the nests that are widely spread in it. Where waking up when the rooster crows, and sleeping when the first stars appear in the sky.
