Davos site
Davos is located in Graubünden on the bank of the Landhauser River in Switzerland, at an altitude of 1560 meters above sea level. It is famous for its liveliness and snow cover. It is also a center for winter sports, and since 1971 it has become a health resort. This is because of the wonderful combination between its height and sunlight. In addition, the city of Davos hosts the annual conference known as the World Economic Forum, which attracts national leaders and executives from all over the world. There are two villages in the city of Davos, namely: the village of Davos Platz, and the village of Davos Dorf, which are located in the Davos Valley. The Germans, as it belonged to Austria from 1160 AD to the year 1213 AD, and after the sixties of the nineteenth century it became a health resort, and in the twentieth century it was developed into a center for winter sports and skiing, and in 1477 AD Davos began hosting the World Economic Forum, which is an annual gathering in which discussion Major economic, political, and social issues in the world. Scholars of globalization have used the term “Davos culture” to represent the elite group of international business, political, and civil society leaders who attend the annual meeting. In addition, the city’s residents speak German officially.

It is an international organization that holds an annual conference in the winter season, in Davos, Switzerland. The conference headquarters is located in Cologne near Geneva.
