Use empty plastic bottles

Plant pots

Empty plastic boxes can be used as pots for plants and flowers, by cutting the box in half, filling the lower half with soil, leaving a hole in the middle to put the seeds in, then covering them again with soil. Chalk or colors can be used to decorate the outside and use it as a vase at home.

A holder for pens and tools

Empty plastic containers and containers can be exploited and used as baskets and containers to place school tools and supplies, in addition to the possibility of using these containers as cups for arranging pens, by removing the top part of the container, then painting it, and placing the pens inside it.

A piggy bank

Money saving piggy banks can be obtained in very simple ways, including reusing plastic bottles, by having the person paint the box so that he will be surprised by the amount of money saved, or leaving it transparent so that he can see the amount saved.

Making games

Car toys, for example, can be made for children using empty plastic containers. They can save some money and invent new toys by using the container lids as car wheels, and using the container itself as a car model. It can also be painted and decorated for children.

Creating artistic forms

Plastic container lids can be used to create artistic forms such as mosaics, by painting the lids with colors, then applying adhesive to the edges of the lid, and pressing it over a plate or piece of cardboard. This process is applied to a large number of lids to obtain a piece of art.

Other uses for empty plastic containers

The upper part of plastic containers can also be used, as the conical shape resulting from cutting the container can be exploited for multiple purposes. Including placing food such as cornflakes, or using it as a toy for children by placing balloons in front of it. It can also be used as a candlestick with caution.
