Author of the novel Little Women

The novel Little Women was written by the American writer Louisa May Alcott. She was born in Pennsylvania in 1832 AD. Alcott lived with her three sisters in a conservative Christian lifestyle at that time. Alcott was taught by her father, Branson Alcott. Alcott had to work at an early age in order to earn her living, so she worked in knitting, teaching, then worked as a nurse during the American Civil War, and she wrote some letters to her family during the war in which she talked about the war and its results, and her letters were later published under the title: Pictures from a hospital Her works also include: Tales of Flowers, Ambiance, and A Conservative Girl. Louisa Alcott died in 1888 AD.

Synopsis of the novel Little Women

The novel Little Women talks about the lives of four girls: Meg, Joe, Beth, and Amy. These girls lived during the time of the war that broke out between the North and South in the United States of America, and their father went with the army to help take care of the sick and wounded, and this family was Rich in the past, but the girls' father lost his money while trying to help one of his friends, and after that the family suffered from extreme poverty, and yet it continued to help the poor, and everyone who needed help, and as a result of the good manners of the young women, and their great morals, a strong friendship deepened between them and the old gentleman , and his grandson, who live in the house next to them, and the family goes through many sad situations, but it also goes through happy events that stir the feelings of the reader for it, and in the last chapters of the novel the family suffers a heartbreaking event, which is the death of one of the sisters as a result of her illness, but the sorrows did not continue. On their lives, each one of them made her way in life, and established small families for each one of them, and reached their dreams.
