Setting method

  • Install the screw or nail in the middle of the plank.
  • Glue one of the CDs to the wooden board using glue.
  • Allow the disc to dry and stick to the board, for five minutes.
  • During that, we make five loops of wire, by wrapping the wire on a suitable plastic box that can be used as a medicine box, and we wrap the wire around it about 25 times, when it is finished, we pull the ring out of the plastic box and cut the tip of the wire, the two free ends in each loop, which we tie until the loop holds together And after tying the ends, we clip them together with a small light bulb.
  • We stick the wire loops on the first disc installed on the wooden plank, after putting a little glue, and estimating the distances between them so that they are consistent.
  • We stick the shuttle in the middle of the disc, and above the shuttle we stick a nut.
  • On the second disk, we stick the magnets on the poles of the disk, each magnet is 90 degrees away from the other.
  • Stick the toothpaste cap in the middle of the second disc, but on the opposite side of where the magnets are attached.
  • We stick a nut on the opposite side of the cover, i.e. in the direction where the magnets are located.
  • We put the second disk on top of the first. The magnets should be towards the wires
When turning the upper disk by hand, we notice the lighting of the lamps, and this is a result of the generation of an electric current in the coils of wires.
