Badr city
Badr is one of the cities of the Arab Republic of Egypt, located in the Cairo Governorate. The city was established in 1982 AD by Resolution No. 335 of the Council of Ministers. Badr City is located on the Cairo-Suez road, about 46 km away from the capital. To the west of it is the new city of Heliopolis, which was established in 1995 AD. Badr City is considered one of the closest cities to Cairo. It is connected to the Ismailia-Cairo Desert Road through a road of 19 km. This road connects a group of several regional roads: Badr City with the Suez Canal, the Nile Delta, the Red Sea, and the Sinai desert. It is expected that this city will have a great deal in the coming years, due to its proximity to the new administrative capital.
