This is because of the mild climate in it, and this is what encouraged many people to settle in this city, where summer temperatures reach thirty degrees Celsius, unlike other Saudi regions where the temperature reaches fifty degrees Celsius. This city is located on mountainous heights and arable plains.
Sabt Alaya tribes
Sabt Al-Alayah is considered one of the cities inhabited by many Arab tribes at the time, including the Bani Hilal tribes, the Azd tribes, the Kamel family, the Balqarn tribes, the Marwan family, and other tribes, and these tribes were united among themselves. One of the most prominent Sabt Al-Alayah tribes, whose traces still exist to this day, is the Bani Hilal tribe, where Abu Zaid Al-Hilali is considered one of the historical personalities that inhabited this city. Also, the Balqarn tribe, i.e. al-Qarni, is considered one of the most famous tribes and still maintains its historical roots to this day. Alian, and Bani Muntasher, and among the most prominent personalities that appeared from the Sabbath of Al-Alayah, as mentioned by Abu Zaid Al-Hilali, and in our present time, Sheikh Ayed Al-Qarni.
