- Writing requires talent in the first place, as all critics, practitioners, and even readers of creative writing agree, but in addition to talent, the biggest factor in the success of any written project or idea is the practical effort that is made by the writer in the stages of preparation, writing, review, and marketing.
- Knowledge of writing methods and language in general can be developed by reading a lot, as reading extensively adds new linguistic capabilities to the mind due to focusing on words most of the time. It is preferable to read in literature and poetry in particular at that stage to develop linguistic abilities and the ability to write. Correctly and eloquently.
- Reading in various fields such as history, philosophy, and science gives the writer the opportunity to form an independent idea about life and a vision of his own, through which he can attract the reader to new and interesting topics, as the written product depends primarily on the idea that is communicated through words.
- Writing as a daily act is the best training for writing and developing the skills related to it, as daily times must be allocated for writing and training in it, and there are many exercises that can be practiced, such as association, which is for a person to write down everything he is thinking about without resorting to beautifying images or deleting details, and description exercises. The place where the writer sits and other important exercises that serve as a basic development for the writer.
- While writing, you must focus on the basic idea and the way it is presented. There is often a clear tendency to use some words and not others, and this can happen in journalistic or research writing.
