Ibn Futais poetry

In this article, we have selected for you a collection of poems by the Qatari poet Muhammad Ibn Futais Al-Marri.

A poem, O strength of your heart

Oh, the strength of your heart to resist, and oh your patience

Oh, my chest expands to stop you, and oh my patience

Oh, how long you live in my memory and how old you are

Oh, my eyes are gray, my old age is back

I swear to God, the color of carrying my patience over you is to bless you

I swear, even if you apologize, I will tell you

What forced you to force me, I can't force you

Oh, on the land of loyalty, I don't give you my thanks

You get upset and come back and tell me about your news

I am broken for you and I come to you looking for my reparation

Your kindness and your memory throughout your absence sparked you

My longing to see you throughout your absence is Sabri

I am most just, loyal and loving, otherwise I say I am blessed

It is enough for me to adore you while you dig my grave

Your absence poem

Your absence, even if it is only a minute, is considered a shock

Time without you is a prison and your absence is its fence

Don't apologize to me, you see there is no more distress

I re-tell the story of the chest, its exit

He is described as good as your father and as a grandfather

How can you be stingy with treating the injured person?

How did your heart resist you and repel it?

Although he showed weakness and need

O strength of your heart, strengthen your right hand and restore it

I was stingy with a handshake and was intimidated by his embarrassment

If he doesn't water his eyes, he will drain his cheeks

You see him crying and his heart is beating

If you see him joking with you, you see it as his grandfather

Laughing because of chest tightness is not good

Other than the cost, I swear to God, what is the limit?

O path of the night, O path and lamp

He knows you before he ever meets you

Although there are waves between you and what is between them

Your passion is intense, intending for the heart

My heart warms to see the Bedouins in need

And Al-Wasl...is a sea, when will you allow it to expand?

The sword is patient and your movement is scarce in its waves

My poem that I read and that I am preparing

Old, do not be upset by its meaning and interpretation

And the emptiness of my heart is too much to fill

I wish you could see the expensive, its towers and its ivory

The strongest winds of misery cannot calm him down

Otherwise, if it breathes, it will demolish its towers

Take advantage of the connection because distance is inevitable

He comes to you one day and then takes you in his drawers

What matters to me is that you soften and let go of distress

What is yours is that I will not take you to a joke

I am not sad and we hope for a long time

Oh the door of my heart and its lock and bolt

Anger boils and whoever upsets him is his destiny

As long as everyone follows your path and path

It is expensive, you are stingy with me, and the delay is long

Poem: May God forgive your loved ones

May God forgive your greed and curse your need

Your absence, even if it is only a minute, is considered a shock

Time behind you is a prison and your absence is its fence

Don't apologize to me, you see I'm no longer in distress

I repeat the story, the chest symbolizes its exit

He is described as good as your father and as a grandfather

How are you being stingy with treating the injured person?

How did your heart protect you, turn it back and repel it?

Although he clearly showed weakness and need

O strength of your heart, direct your right hand and return it

I was stingy in shaking his hand and was embarrassed by his embarrassment

When he fell asleep, he clouded his eye and bruised his cheek

You see him crying and his heart is beating

If you see him joking with you, you see it as his grandfather

Laughing about the path of narrow-mindedness is not his fault

Other than the dearness and dearness to you, there is no limit to it

O path of night, O path and lamp

But he knows you long before he meets you

Even though there are waves between you and him

Your passion is a Bedouin, and the heart intends hard

My heart warms to see the Bedouins in need

And the connection is by sea when you allow it to extend

The sword is patient and your sea is scarce with its waves

And the poem that I read and the one that I am preparing

Old, do not be upset by its meaning and interpretation

And the emptiness of my heart is too much to fill

I wish you could see the expensive, its towers and its ivory

The strongest winds of misery cannot calm him down

Nor the drought, if it breathes, it will demolish its towers

Take advantage of the connection because distance is necessary

He comes to you one day and then takes you in his drawers

What matters to me is that you soften and let go of distress

What is yours is that I will not talk to you for a joke

No, I am upset, and I am hoping for a while

Oh the door of my heart and its lock and bolt

Your anger is boiling, and whoever you upset is his anger

Madam, everyone wants your path and its path

It is expensive, you are stingy with me, and the delay is long

May God forgive your greed and curse your need
