In stores, this is due to the increased percentage of caustic soda present in it, which affects the skin and causes a lot of allergies to it. Here we present a way to make high-quality soap at home with distinctive scents and colors and natural materials that suit all skin types.
Making soap at home
Necessary ingredients
- Two kilograms of oil available at home.
- A kilo of flour.
- Half a kilo of caustic soda.
- Half a liter of water.
- Two tablespoons of food coloring.
- A spoonful of your favorite essential oil.
Manufacturing Method
- Put the flour with the oil on the fire and stir well until it combines well.
- Bring caustic soda, add water to it, then dissolve it in it, and add the solution to the flour-oil mixture.
- Stir the mixture well while it is on the fire, then add the essential oil and the color you chose, and stir well until the ingredients are combined, being careful and careful not to let the soda come into contact with your hands during making.
- Pour the soap into special molds, preferably wooden ones, to keep them from interacting with other materials.
- Leave the soap to dry in the open air for two or three days.
- Cover the soap bars in plastic bags to protect them from excessive drying or interaction with any other materials.
How to make liquid soap
- Bring some of the soap you prepared, then chop it into small pieces, put it in an airtight container, then add a spoonful of honey and a spoonful of olive oil, sesame oil, or glycerin, then add half the amount of hot water to it, and then shake the bottle well until it dissolves. The soap becomes liquid.
- Leave the liquid for half an hour until it thickens at medium temperature, and then use it directly.
How to make lavender soap
Necessary ingredients
- A cup of grated soap.
- Half a cup of lavender flower leaves.
- Half a spoon of lavender essential oil.
- Ten tablespoons of boiling water.
Manufacturing Method
- Dry the lavender leaves well, and grind them using a mortar or any tool you have available until it becomes a fine powder-like powder.
- Place the grated soap with boiling water on the fire until it dissolves completely.
- Add the lavender leaf powder and lavender essential oil to the soap while it is boiling, then stir the mixture until all the ingredients are combined with each other.
- Place the mixture in a bowl until it cools slightly, then put it in the containers for liquid soap.
