Insert a table into Word

Here are the steps for creating a table within a Word file:

• Open the Word document in which you want to insert the table.
• Click on the Table option that appears on the menu bar.
• Choose the Insert option.
• Choose the Table option from the drop-down menu that appears on the screen.
• Enter the number of columns that the user wants to include in the new table to be created.
• Enter the number of rows that the user wants to include in the table.
• Specify the column width or leave it set to its default value.

Insert a quick table into Word

Here are the steps for inserting a Quick Table into a Word file:

• Clicking with the mouse button on the place where you want to insert the table.
• Click on the Insert option.

• Clicking on the cells of the table that the user wants to include.

Draw a table in Word

Here are the steps to draw a table in Word:

• Click on the Insert option.
• Choose the Tables option.
• Click on the Draw Table option, to convert the mouse pointer into a pencil shape.
• Start drawing the table to be created via Word, by dragging the pen pointer vertically and horizontally to draw the table, and it should be noted that the table can be modified at any time the user desires.

Convert data to a table in Word

The Microsoft Word user can convert the data into a table, by following these steps:

• Determine all the data that the user wants to create a table from.
• Click on the “Insert” option located in the bar at the top of the screen.
• Click on the Table option.
• Choose the Convert Text to Table option.

Note: When converting data into a table in Word, the table is inserted based on many different data, such as the separators between the data.
