Getting rid of obesity

How does obesity occur?

obesity

Obesity results from the accumulation of fat in the body, constituting a total of more than 35% in women and 30% in men. This fat is produced by a person eating foodstuffs that contain calories that exceed the body’s need and requirements, as the body consumes the calories it needs and stores the rest. In the form of fats and grease in fat cells. Studies have shown that every 7000 calories increases weight by one kilogram, and therefore any few calories over the days increases weight in general.

A person is considered obese when his weight exceeds (120%) of his ideal weight, and the amounts of grease and fat exceed the normal rate in the body, and thus the excess fat is stored in the internal organs such as the heart and liver and causes a decline in their functional capacity, and it is also stored under the skin.

Types of obesity

  • Apple obesity: It is the accumulation of excess fat and grease in the abdomen or upper part of the body.
  • Pear obesity: It is the accumulation of excess fat and grease around the thighs and hips, and this is more common in women than in men.
