Al-Kharj springs are characterized by the fact that their water is cold in the summer and warm in the winter, which makes it have a wonderful and beautiful atmosphere for hiking. These springs used to overflow the ground in large quantities in the valleys that pass through the city of Al-Sih throughout the year, so it was called the city of Al-Sih, and Al-Kharj was distinguished by its agricultural lands due to the fertility of the soil. And the freshness of the water comes from the springs from which the farms are irrigated through water channels.

Among the springs that were located in the Al-Kharj region, we mention: Ain Al-Dhala, which is located southwest of the Al-Sih region, and it is one of the largest springs in Saudi Arabia, in addition to that, Ain Samha, Ain Farzan, and Ain Umm Khisa. These springs were the main and important source of water supplies for all uses of the Al-Kharj Oasis. However, it has gradually decreased and disappeared over the past twenty years due to withdrawal and water consumption through drilling artesian wells, which draw from the layer that nourishes the eyes, which led to the cessation of the natural flow of water from the eyes.
