This triangle is located in the western Atlantic Ocean and borders the southeastern coasts of Florida in America, Puerto Rico, and the British Bermuda Islands. As for calling it by these different names, which are associated with death and fear, it is due to allegations of many mysterious accidents and strange disappearances of people who passed through this place. The most prominent of these incidents is the disappearance of a group of aircraft in 1945 while flying over the triangle, after which stories spread about this site and its alleged extreme danger, and there are about fifty ships and twenty aircraft that were claimed to have disappeared while passing through the triangle during the twentieth and nineteenth centuries.

The Bermuda Triangle is a hypothetical piece of ocean water located off the coast of the North American continent, in the far north of the Atlantic Ocean. In fact, there is no actual agreement on the area, location, or shape of the Bermuda Triangle, as it is just an imaginary territory, not defined by geographical or geological terrain, but in general the most acceptable borders for it are an unclear triangle, whose vertices are located at three points, which are: The US state of Florida, the Greater Antilles (a tropical archipelago, the most important of which is Cuba), and the Bermuda Islands (a small archipelago administratively affiliated to Britain).

Currently, thousands of ships and planes pass through the triangle to move between the United States and the Caribbean islands, or to move across the Atlantic Ocean.

Despite the conduct of many scientific studies, it has not been concluded that there are special reasons in the Bermuda Triangle area that make it dangerous or different from the rest of the earth, but many non-scientific theories are still trying to explain the disappearances recorded historically in this place.

History of the Bermuda Triangle Incidents

The first accidents

It is said that the French Rosalie ship disappeared in 1840 AD when it was crossing the region, and when rescue teams were sent, they found no trace of any of the crew members who were on board. As for the ship, it was intact and empty, except for a cage for a lone canary inside.

Among the early historical disappearances in the region was the American Ellen Austin ship (in English: Ellen Austin), which sailed and disappeared on July 20, 1860, and it was claimed that it reappeared several times empty of passengers, or had a new crew on board other than its original crew, unless The ship's official records do not prove any disappearances.

One of the most famous disappearances occurred in the Bermuda Triangle in 1945 AD, when five American warplanes disappeared, and the pilot of the squadron leader - shortly before his disappearance - had sent warning messages indicating a malfunction in the compass and the occurrence of imbalances in the flight equipment, and announced that he had lost his way. The squadron that disappeared in the accident, known as “Squadron No. 19” was on a field training mission of the United States Air Force. The five planes flew on the morning of December 14th (that is, months after the end of World War II), carrying XNUMX pilots on board. To be trained on how to throw explosive bombs, and it was planned that the five planes would take off from a military airport in the Bahamas and fly across the ocean to the US state of Florida, and then they had to return again.

The planes arrived safely in Florida, then filled up on fuel and took off again to fly back to the Bahamas. And it was almost ninety minutes after its first takeoff, when the squadron commander sent a message saying that he could no longer determine his location and direction, and within a short period of transmission an unexpected storm occurred that made the weather and navigation conditions very bad, and the squadron commander named Charles Taylor instructed the pilots Accompanying him to a place in the middle of the ocean, and what happened after that is not known precisely because no debris or bodies were found, but the hypothetical possibility is that the aircraft has run out of fuel, and that it fell and crashed in the sea water.

What is worse is that immediately after the disappearance of the squadron, two PBM Mariner reconnaissance planes were sent to search for stray planes, but during the search process one of the planes disappeared, and later fuel residues were found in the sea and witnesses recorded what appeared to be a plane crash in the sea. The sea, and the reconnaissance plane was never found, and 13 other men were lost on board, and one of the largest rescue operations in history was devoted to searching for those planes, as 248 planes participated in the air and 18 ships at sea, but nothing was ever found.

Relatively easily, and earthquakes are relatively common at the bottom of the ocean in the Bermuda Triangle, which may cause disturbances in sea water.
