Saad bin Abi Waqas

He is the great companion Saad bin Malik bin Ahaib bin Abd Manaf bin Zahra bin Kilab al-Qurashi, and his nickname is Abu Ishaq.

Saad bin Abi Waqqas was one of the most staunch companions of the Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, in truth, and the Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, made a brotherhood between him and Saad bin Mu’adh, the master of Aws.

Islam Saad bin Abi Waqqas

Saad, may God be pleased with him, embraced Islam when he was seventeen years old, and he was one of the first to believe in the belief of faith and enter Islam.

When Umm Saad became angry with his conversion to Islam, she became very angry and tried hard to turn him away from his religion, but she never succeeded. Imam Muslim, may God have mercy on him, narrated in his Sahih on the authority of Musab bin Saad bin Abi Waqqas on the authority of his father, may God be pleased with him, who said: Umm Saad swore that she would never speak to him Until he expiates his religion, and do not eat or drink. She said: She claimed that God commanded you to take care of your parents, so I am your mother and I am ordering you to do this. He said: I stayed for three days until she fainted from the effort. Saad So God Almighty revealed the fifteenth verse of Surat Luqman: (And if they strive with you to associate with Me that of which you have no knowledge, do not obey them and accompany them in this world kindly).

Saad bin Abi Waqqas, may God be pleased with him, met severe hardship from the polytheists because of his conversion to Islam, so he and those who believed with him cut off.

Harsh conditions were going through Saad bin Abi Waqqas, may God be pleased with him, and the believers after the migration, who did not find anything to eat except grass, weeds and tree leaves, especially during the battle. We have no food except tree leaves, so that one of us puts down as a camel or a sheep puts his money in confusion
