Ghawar field

The Ghawar field is located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and it had started producing oil since the early fifties. The field covers an area of ​​5300 square kilometers, and produces nearly five million barrels per day. Thus, it tops the list of the largest oil wells in the world in production and reserves. Saudi officials also estimate that this The field contains more than one hundred and twenty billion barrels of recoverable oil reserves.

Burgan field

The Burgan field is considered the second largest oil well in the world and is located in the State of Kuwait. It was discovered in 1938 AD, but it started working in the year 1946 AD. The field reserves are estimated at 87 billion barrels, and covers an area of ​​780 square kilometers, where the main reservoir in the field produces approximately 1.3 million barrels of crude oil per day, which is more than half of Kuwait's total production.

Safaniya field

The Safaniya field is located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, north of the city of Dhahran, 265 km away from it in the Arabian Gulf. Its production began nearly 60 years ago. It is the second largest oil field in the Kingdom after the Ghawar field, and it is considered the largest offshore oil field in the world. It contains more than 50 billion barrels of oil, and its production reaches 1.5 million barrels per day. Saudi Aramco is working to expand its scope of work, and there are eight other giant oil fields in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Rumaila

The Rumaila field is the largest oil field in Iraq and is located to the south of it, and it contains an estimated 17.8 billion barrels of crude oil, and the field produces an amount of 1.5 million barrels per day, and it is operated by BP (in English: British Petroleum), and the Corporation China National Petroleum.
