Technology

Technology is important because it is used in all areas of life, especially the process. When we reflect on our daily routine and try to count the tools of technology, then we will realize the importance of technology in our lives, such as: our use of cars, computers, the Internet, telephones, televisions, electrical machines and many others.

Technology can be defined as all the changes or modifications that a person makes to things that exist in nature, in addition to the tools of various kinds that he manufactured to facilitate the work he performs, as technology includes many aspects of life such as: food, medicine, housing, dress, communication, transportation, sports, science and many more.

Technology uses

Technology is widely used in all areas of our lives, namely:

  • Communication technology: This technology includes facilitating human communication and communication, such as: visual communication, cell phones, and pagers.
  • Home technology: It includes all household activities, such as: frozen and dried food, microwave ovens, and household electrical appliances.
  • Information technology: This technology includes all computer-based applications, such as: e-mail, the Internet, home and laptop computers, digital scanning machines, and imaging tools.
  • Entertainment and media technology: It includes all areas of entertainment that appear in a digital framework, such as: satellite television, Internet publications, radio equipment, and video games.
  • Medical technology: It includes all tools, research, and medical studies in order to solve the problems of the human and animal bodies resulting from diseases and injuries, such as: artificial organs, vaccines, pacemakers, and others.
  • Education technology: which includes the application of scientific principles in order to facilitate and simplify learning and teaching.

  • A capital saving technique, often used in developing countries.
  • A labor-saving technology that is often used in developed countries.
  • Neutral technology, which increases capital and labor.

  • It is considered an independent science with its origins, theories and goals.
  • It is an applied science that aims to apply knowledge.
