A good wife is characterized by her love for God Almighty and His Messenger, and this love motivates her to act in the following ways:

• Reciting the Holy Qur’an and contemplating its verses.
• Do a lot of voluntary prayers, such as fasting, prayer, zakat, and others.
• Remembrance of God Almighty frequently in the heart and tongue.
• Following the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace.
• Not giving precedence to anyone’s words over the words of God Almighty and the words of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.
• Sitting with good women.
• Remember death at all times, and take cues from it.
• Taking pride in the laws of the true Islamic religion, even if they contradict one’s desires.

Save yourself and your husband

A good wife is characterized by the fact that she protects herself from various apparent and hidden temptations, keeps herself away from being led into lusts and forbidden things, and protects her husband in himself and in his honor. Also, a righteous woman strives with herself and is patient with marital life and the many things it requires, and thus this leads to achieving Happiness and stability between spouses.

Save the husband's money

Money is considered a heavy burden on the shoulders of every Muslim. Therefore, a good wife is the one who protects her husband’s money, and it is preserved by not wasting it. There is no need for excessive extravagance. Rather, the wife must bear responsibility for her household. This is because she is responsible and accountable before God Almighty for that.

Taking care of raising children

A good wife cares about her children, as raising and preserving children is considered one of the most important qualities that a woman must possess, because the fruits of education are reflected in society, and education is not limited to building the child’s body, but rather includes good upbringing, and education must be in the Islamic religion, And on good morals and upright behavior, and on the necessity of adhering to the rituals of Islam, such as performing prayers on time, and thus a righteous son will be a support for his parents on the Day of Resurrection, and a reason for their entry into Paradise.

Other qualities of a good wife

A good woman possesses many other qualities that distinguish her from others, including the following:

• A good woman has a sound opinion and honest advice.
• Supporting the religion of God by sacrificing family and country.
• A pioneer in creating favor.
• Chaste and pure.
• She is right, and does not fear, for God's sake, the blame of the blamer.
• She is ascetic in her world.
• Patient with life's misfortunes and troubles.
• Respectful to her husband.
• She is loyal to her husband even after his death.
• Keen to learn legal sciences.
