Poetry of Muhammad bin Futais

These are some poems by the great poet Muhammad bin Fetais

And they turned around and stopped being silent again —— before I became obsessive and a play came to me

Silence increases my appeals - and my staff will be broken without coming to my head

Beggar if you don't want to beg —— before I sit in sadness, going and coming

And laugh if you laugh at the work ——– and compliment me if my story bothers you

I have a friend who will not make it easy ——– It is my medicine and my medicine.. or my medicine and my medicine

He is gone, but the trace of his disappearance is in the eyes ——- once in front of me and sometimes behind my mind

And if they remained silent, he would come with a scent of lemon ——- I went to obsess over him and explain to him my loyalty

What my eyes gain from the difference is Mazooun ——- It is raining for a battery... and lightning? My friends

Whatever they say, if they are joking ——– deprive me of my lunch and my dinner

I know that he never forgot his kindness because ——– you hear his ear on the back of my tongue other than me

It is as if they said, “I forgot him.” They are lying ——- otherwise I have a look and an opinion about him

His love for me was inviolable ——- I swear to God, if you were as capable as me...and as worthy as I was

He has the remains of love and the ruins of madness —— and God knows what remains in his conscience

Do not obey me and do not remain silent again ——- nor, by God, will I ever make you cry

Oh, your heart is on the verge of resistance, and oh your patience

And my heart expands to support you and my patience

May you live long in my memory and may you grow old

And my eyes are gray, my old age has returned

I swear to God, the color of carrying my patience over you is to bless you

I swear, even if you apologize, I will tell you

What forced you is expensive, I cannot force you

Oh, on the land of loyalty, I don't give you anything I can give you

You get upset and come back and tell me about your news

I am broken for you and I come to you searching for my reparation

Your kindness and your memory throughout your absence sparked you

My longing to see you throughout your absence is Sabri

I am right, loyal and loving, otherwise I say I am blessed

It is enough for me to adore you while you dig my grave

No, the world has become narrow for you and you have become distorted —– God created what was abundant

From the Arabs, the voice, and the dress, you became bored —— and worries rose upon you with the sound of resonance

So raise your hands to your Creator and perform ablution ——- and pray that you will come closer to me and become prostrate

And set your time for the timing —— and record your presence in the mosques

And I give good tidings to the fear of the protector of religion and the house —— I will find you one of the obsessions, Hajid

He who kills the living and then revives the dead - to His pleasure - saw many people in the mosques
