History of Photoshop

In 1987, the brothers Thomas and John Knoll developed the Photoshop program. Thomas was a student at the University of Michigan to obtain his doctorate degree. He wrote a program for displaying images called (Display), then in cooperation with his brother John, it was transformed into a complete program that was launched. It was called Photoshop. The brothers then made a deal with Barneyscan, a scanning company, to distribute copies of the program with every scanner the company sells. Thus, the company sold 200 copies of the program. After that, John contacted Apple, and Russell Brown ( In English: Russell Brown, technical director at Adobe, who finally decided to purchase the distribution license in 1988 AD, and the first version of Photoshop was launched on February 19, 1990 AD, and was exclusive to Macintosh computers.
