Dark circles and blackheads

How do I remove blackness under the eye

Application of tea bags

Tea, especially green tea, contains powerful antioxidants that can increase blood flow to the skin. It also protects against ultraviolet rays and potentially slows skin aging. To use tea to remove dark circles under the eyes, you can follow the following steps:

  • Steep two tea bags for 3-5 minutes.
  • Place the tea bags in the refrigerator for 20 minutes to cool.
  • Squeeze the tea bags to extract the remaining water inside them, place them on the eyes and leave them for 15-30 minutes.

Cold water compresses

Cold causes blood to contract in the cells surrounding the eye, through the following:

  • Get a clean cloth and moisten it with cold water.
  • Place the piece on the area around the eye, and leave it for at least 10 minutes.
  • To keep the cloth cool, moisten it with cold water every few minutes.

Additional tips to remove dark circles under the eyes

There are many factors that contribute to getting rid of dark circles under the eyes and preventing their appearance, including the following:

  • Drink enough water; It is recommended to drink thirteen cups of water for men, and nine cups of water for women.
  • Remove makeup from the skin before bed.
  • Sleeping with the head raised above body level, by placing two or more pillows.
  • Use whitening products that contain hydroquinone.
  • Get enough sleep; Sleep helps keep the eyes bright, and helps the body repair damaged skin cells.
  • Avoid consuming alcohol and caffeine, as they cause mild dehydration in the body, making dark circles darker.
  • Use sunscreen.
  • Consult a skin doctor if the cause of the appearance of circles is the production of too much melanin. In this case, the doctor will prescribe a lightening cream that contains a lightening agent such as: retinol, hydroquinone, kojic acid, green tea, and vitamin C.
