Treatment of dark circles under the eyes

Dark circles can be treated using the following methods:

  • Use of ointments: Some lotions may help get rid of this problem, such as caffeine that helps tighten blood vessels and reduce puffiness, in addition to some other ingredients such as vitamins C and E, and retinol that contribute to skin lightening, but this method is not considered a complete treatment.
  • Hide circles: Cosmetics can be used to hide these circles.
  • eye lids: Tea bags can be used after eating them, by placing them on the closed eyelids for a few minutes, as the tea fights infections that may cause dark circles and puffiness under the eyes.
  • Allergy check: The process of scratching the eyes and other allergy symptoms leave dark circles around the eyes, and a doctor should be reviewed to take the appropriate medication to reduce these symptoms caused by allergies, and antihistamines and eye drops may help.
  • Wear shading: You can use sunglasses that help filter ultraviolet light, as the glasses help prevent the area under the eyes from being damaged by the sun, which forms dark circles.
