Fulful, leader of the elephants

Falfool, the elephant leader, loved to tell his story to his young children. The children gathered around him, all longing to hear the stories of their father when he was young like them. He looked at them and the looks of innocence in their eyes and smiled at them with a tender smile. Then he began to tell his story: O my children, in the past I was a little elephant and my father was He is the leader of the elephants, Flafoul the Great, and my mother, Mrs. Flavelo, is my caring mother. I was the eldest of my siblings and closest to her, because I obeyed her, but I did not obey her in a single matter and I thought that this did not constitute anything in my relationship with my mother, but I learned after that that it constituted a great danger to me.

One of the young elephants asks: What is it, Father? The father answers him: I used to like to escape from the crowds of elephants and walk alone among the trees of the dense forest, so my mother warned me not to walk alone because this poses a danger to me because I am young, so I lowered my head in submission and obedience to her command, but in reality I am... The matter is that I did not obey her and lied to her, and I went back to doing what I wanted when my beloved mother slept or took her eyes off me for a while, and from here my story begins.

Falfool begins to tell his story: I walked alone in the forest to enjoy the charming nature away from the crowds, and I ran here and there, going freely and happily, until I heard a terrifying sound, and my limbs trembled when I found a large lion roaring in my face and wanting to prey on me. Of course, he will be faster and stronger than me and will easily defeat me. Especially since I am alone and young and I cannot find a big elephant next to me to protect me, so I called out in panic: My mother, my mother, then I shouted at the top of my voice: Oh mother, save me, please, while the lion was screaming at me: Be silent, be silent for a while, so that I can eat you in peace, for I did not eat. My breakfast is very hungry, so I call my mother screaming: Save me, mother, the lion wants to make me his breakfast. So the mother ran as fast as possible to save me and asked me in fear: Falafel, what’s wrong with you, what’s wrong, my son? I answered her crying: Look, mother. I looked disapprovingly at the lion and asked him: Who are you?

So the lion looked at the huge elephant for a moment and seemed to know it: Mrs. Flavelo, I was a lion and they called me the lion of the forest, but from that moment on, I became a cat, Nyaw Nyaw, goodbye. She answers him in denial: No, it's a blow over your head. Take it. Tarakh. The lion groans: Ah, my head, I feel very dizzy. Then he collides with a tree and falls unconscious.

Falfool continues his story: My mother scolded me a lot, but she told me that she had postponed the punishment until she was sure that I would obey her orders. But I did not submit to her words and went back to the forest alone to have fun, play, and hide among the trees as usual until I heard a frightening sound. I turned around and found it was a large striped tiger. My limbs trembled and I called out loud. In the power of: My mother, my mother, forgive me and forgive me, and I will never do it again.

And the tiger is screaming at me: Be silent, be silent for a while, so that I can eat you, because I do not like to be disturbed, and then I am very hungry, so I shout: Oh mother, save me. The tiger wants to eat me to satisfy its hunger. My mother quickly ran out and found me crying and remorseful, then she looked disapprovingly at the tiger. And I asked him: Who are you, you coward? The tiger turns to find a huge elephant and says to it, his limbs trembling with fear: I, Mrs. Flavello, used to be a tiger, but now when I see you, I have become a duck, wak, wak, bye. Then my mother calls him sharply: Wait and take this. He asks happily: You mean a delicious meal for me? I thank you with all my heart. You, Flavelo, are very generous. She answers him sarcastically: No, it is a blow to your head. The tiger groans, saying: What a strong blow, oh my head, which was broken. Then he falls unconscious. .

From that day on, I became obedient to my mother and did not walk in the forest alone, but next to my brothers and the big elephants guarding us. Then we happened to walk next to a small river where the elephants were suffering from thirst, so we went to the river, and of course all my brothers stood next to my mother except me, as I wanted to move away a little so that I could drink the water freely, as I was suffering from severe thirst and I said to myself: This river will not jump through it. A lion or a tiger. I know very well that only fish live in the river, but I was wrong. I found in front of me something that looked like a piece of wood, but I did not care about that. I started drinking water to quench my thirst until a large crocodile jumped out of the water and grabbed me. I screamed and cried bitterly and turned around. My doom: Mother, save me and forgive me. Forgive me, my mother, before I die. My mother ran out in great fear until she found the crocodile and asked him in anger: Who are you, you coward?

So she called him in anger: Wait and take this.

He wonders: What? Will you give me a fish to eat? Thank you, ma'am.
