Types of body tremor

  • Permanent (primary) tremor: It is a tremor that does not occur as a result of a disease or a defect in human health, and it occurs gradually and increases when exposed to psychological and physical pressures, or when drinking stimulants, or feeling very hot or cold, and this type often occurs in The hand, the head, the voice, and these tremors develop as a person gets older.
  • Non-essential tremor: It is the tremor that occurs as a result of a disease or other reasons, and it goes away with the disappearance of the cause, and it may occur throughout the body.

  • Genetic and hereditary factors in the event of essential tremor.
  • An imbalance in the amount of sugar in the blood and its decrease significantly.
  • The body's need for food in form.
  • A symptom of taking certain medications.
  • Nerve disorders due to sclerosis.
  • Having a fever.
  • Body imbalance due to relaxation of the nerves.
  • In the event of epileptic seizures, which lead to severe tremors throughout the body.
  • Infection with some diseases.
  • Feeling very cold.
  • Tremor in the eyelid, which occurs due to nerve dysfunction, and high pressure on the eye.

Diseases that cause body tremors

  • Parkinson's disease, which causes tremors in the hands, arms, and face, and occurs as a result of a neurological disorder.
  • Multiple sclerosis, which causes tremors in the extremities, the head, the genital area, and the tongue, and is caused by disorders in the nerve cells. This may cause a defect or loss of vision, in addition to a defect in the walking process.

treatment

  • Treatment of non-essential causes of tremor.
  • Treatment with some anticonvulsant drugs, or sedatives.
  • Treatment of tremor of the voice through Botox injections.
  • Treatment by doing some exercises, so that the patient can control his muscles.
  • Treatment by performing some surgeries.

The patient can live with the tremor in the event that it does not have any clear cause or treatment that enables him to get rid of it, but he must perform some correct behaviors in his life in order to mitigate its impact on his health and psychological life, such as avoiding caffeine, not drinking too much alcohol. Not being subjected to psychological pressures and excessive physical exhaustion, adequate daily sleep, self-confidence, and indifference to others’ view of the injured person.
