Delete Google Plus through the browser

The Google Plus account can be deleted through the browser, by following these steps:

• Visit the “Google Downgrade site” page on a personal computer or mobile device.
• Scroll down once the webpage loads and select the checkbox next to Required.
• Click on “DELETE”.

NoteYou can delete the Google Plus account without affecting other Google services such as Gmail.

Delete Google Plus from the phone

The Google Plus account can be deleted through the Android App Store application through the following steps:

• Open the Google Plus application on the phone.
• Click on the three horizontal lines in the upper left corner, then select “Settings”.
• Click on the name or Gmail address.
• Scroll down the page and click on “Delete Google+ Profile”.
• Click on “OK” and then fill in the web information to finish deleting the profile.

Note: The deletion of the Google Plus account is final, and the user will not be able to restore the same account, but will need to create a new account.
