Download the kik app
The user must download the Kik application on the mobile device in order to use it, and Kik Messenger can be downloaded from the iTunes application for iPhone, iPod, iPad, or from Google Play for Android phones, then the user will be prompted to create a new account, or Log in if you have an account for the user.
Create an account on the Kik app
An account can be created on the Kik application after downloading the application, installing it on the device and opening it, by following the following steps:
- Click on Sign Up.
- Enter the first name and the last name.
- Create the username of the user, and if the name is available, the user will see a green checkmark next to it, but if a red “X” appears, this means that the username already exists, and the user can try adding numbers to the name or creating another username .
- Enter an accessible email address so that the user can reset the password or deactivate the account.
- Create a strong password.
- Enter the date of birth (birthday).
- Enter the user's phone number to find contacts.
- Click on Sign Up, until the account is confirmed by email.
Send messages on the Kik app
A Kik application user can send text messages to a friend, by following these steps:

- Click on the send button when you are done with the message.
- Emojis and smiley faces can be added by clicking on the smiley face icon while writing the message, to show a list containing many different options, then clicking on the symbol that the user wants.
