The method of dyeing eyebrows

Eyebrows can be dyed by following the following method:

  • Apply a thick layer of dye over the eyebrows and distribute it well from the inner part of the nose to the outer part, using a specialized brush, a piece of cotton, or using an ear cleaning stick.
  • Leave the dye on the eyebrows for three minutes, then wipe off the dye using a cotton swab.
  • Clean the skin surrounding the eyebrows using a cotton piece moistened with warm water. To obtain a better result, you can use a specialized facial cleanser.
  • Wipe off the dye using a dry cotton piece. The previous steps can be repeated if the desired color is not achieved, while being careful not to overuse it more than two or three times to avoid skin irritation.
  • Wash eyebrows using warm water.
  • Drawing or defining the eyebrows, taking care not to do so before dyeing, as this could lead to skin irritation or inflammation.

Choosing the color of eyebrow dye

You must choose a dye that suits the eyebrow hair. You should avoid using hair dye for the eyebrows, as it is considered very harsh on them and leads to harm to the skin around the eyes. Semi-permanent hair dyes or beard dyes can be used, which are available in many colors that satisfy all tastes.

Considerations when tinting eyebrows

It is necessary to take into consideration the many negative reactions that the dye can have on the skin negatively, as the dyes can lead to granulomas, which are small parts of inflamed tissue, or skin rashes. Contact lenses must also be removed before starting the dyeing process. It is recommended to put drops of salt water before washing the eyes for those with sensitive eyes. It is also possible to place a wet piece of cotton under the eyes to prevent the skin from getting dirty.
