Imru Al Qais

Imru’ al-Qais is considered one of the most prominent poets of the pre-Islamic era. He was born in the Kinda tribe in Yemen. His name is Imru’ al-Qais bin Hajar bin al-Harith bin Amr bin Muawiya bin al-Harith al-Akbar. He lived with his tribe in western Hadramout. Most of his poetry was about promiscuity and describing women, and this led him to be expelled from his father’s bosom, so he became a homeless man with his companions who drank wine and sang. Today, there is no sugar tomorrow, today is wine, and tomorrow is something.” Imru’ al-Qais died in 80 BC. e.

Zuhair bin Abi Salma

Zuhair bin Rabia was nicknamed Abu Salma, and his lineage goes back to the decorated tribe of Mudar, and he descended from the origins of a family who were good at writing poetry. His advice in the battles, and Zuhair accompanied him and learned poetry from him, and the payment of opinion, and Zuhair bequeathed poetry to his two sons, Bajeer and Kaab.

Qais bin Al-Malouh

Qais bin Al-Mulouh was known as crazy Layla, and his name was said to be Bakhtari bin Al-Jaad, and some of them said otherwise, and there is conflict in his lineage, some of whom attributed him to Bani Amer bin Sa’sa, and some of them attributed him to Bani Ka’b bin Saad, and this poet was famous for his love for Laila Bint Mahdi Al-Amiriyyah, who reportedly met him while grazing the animals, so they inspired each other until love killed Qais.

Hassan bin thabet

Hassan bin Thabit is considered the poet of the Ansar during the pre-Islamic era, and the poet of the Prophet in Islam. He satirized the Quraishites and struggled in defending his Prophet. He was also famous for his prophetic praise, and he was nicknamed Abu al-Walid. , and the prophetic praise, in addition to his praise of the Ghassanids, and the king Al-Nu’man bin Al-Mundhir, and his collection was narrated by Abu Saeed Al-Sukkari on the authority of Ibn Habib, and he passed away in the year 54 AH.
