The first to lay the foundation stones for the city was Harvey Wilcox in 1887 AD, a person who was banned from Kansas City, and he wanted to build a society based on his moderate religious beliefs, but the real estate emperor H. Jay. Wheatley turned it into a wealthy and popular residential area, and was called the "Father of Hollywood" for his efforts.

At the beginning of the twentieth century, Wheatley made efforts to secure the city's needs of water, electricity, telephone lines, and gas lines, but the emergence of a problem with the water lines led to the annexation of Hollywood to Los Angeles at the request of its residents. In 1908 AD, the first cinematic film was filmed in the city, and in 1911 AD the first film-making studio was built in it. The companies rushed later to build their own studios in the city, which reached 20 companies at the time, and Hollywood soon turned into the center of the film industry in America in the year 1915 AD.
