Looking at the wife while she is talking is considered a sign of the husband’s respect for her, and it is also evidence that he is a good listener, unlike the husband who does not respect his wife and does not pay attention to what the wife says, and remains busy on his phone or watching television.

A husband who shares his wife’s feelings and responds to her, whether they are feelings of joy or sadness, is considered a husband who respects his wife. The wife must also take into account her husband’s feelings, especially if he is sad.

Defending the wife

The husband must defend his wife when he hears insulting words from any member of his family. He must defend her out of his respect for her, but he must solve the problem amicably and without losing his family, and this applies to the wife. She must defend her husband in his presence or absence, whether the insult comes from her family or his family.
