The origin of love is serenity, and it may be taken from the grain of the heart, i.e. its black heart. It was said to describe it as the boiling of the heart and its eruption when meeting the beloved, and love in people’s language has several limits, including preferring the desire of the beloved or the desire of the beloved over the desire of the lover, or the remembrance of the beloved taking over the heart of the lover, or erasing anything other than the beloved from the heart, or inclination toward the beloved. Love is the master of all the names of love, and it means excessive love, and the lover’s admiration for the beloved in states of chastity and immorality, and it was said in describing love that it is an obsessive disease that a person brings upon himself by focusing his thought on the approval of some virtues, or that it is greed that is born and grows in the heart, and the stronger it is, the more its owner continues to persist. In greed, which may lead to grief and anxiety, the lover may kill himself, or die in grief, or look at his lover and die with joy. It has also been said that it is blindness to realizing the faults of the beloved, or that it is supplication and adulation for the beloved.

  • Universal Universal Love: Such as love of God, nature, and strangers, and is distinguished from the previous type in that it is not linked to kinship or knowledge, and includes concern for others and altruism.
  • practical love This love is based on duties or long-term interests, such as the love resulting from a political marriage.
  • self love This love is negative and unhealthy when it coincides with exaggerated arrogance and pride in achievements and abilities, while it is healthy and positive when combined with the individual’s self-esteem. That is, self-love includes the system through which we think, feel, work, and determine our relationship with ourselves and others.
