Characteristics of the press report

  • Presenting it does not require speed, like publishing the news. Rather, you need to write the report slowly and get the full details of the event.

Types of press report

  • News report: It is concerned with presenting data and information on a specific news or event that the press report cannot provide, that is, highlighting all aspects of the event.
  • Personal Report: He is the one who is interested in presenting and displaying an important personality associated with an event, and plays an important role in the event, for example: a person who won the presidency of a country, so journalists make a press report on the personality of the winner.
  • Live report: It is concerned with presenting current events through direct and live filming of the event, and works to highlight the image of the event more than it speaks or talks about its details.

Build the report

  • The title of the report: It is considered the most important part of the report. It is he who determines the reader’s eye falling on it, and the title must be distinguished by an attention-grabbing title, and give value to the report.
  • Introduction to the report: It is the one that paves the way for the event covered in the report, i.e. preparing the reader or viewer for the event in question. The introduction is distinguished by attracting the attention of readers and viewers to follow up on the event and contains concrete facts.
  • The body of the report: It is the one that presents the detailed and essential information of the event, i.e. providing evidence and logical proofs that support the event of the report, and the writer of the report must be distinguished at this point by revealing the mysterious aspects and angles of the event and presenting them in a sequential manner.
  • Conclusion of the report: It presents a summary of the event and its results that were included in the report.
