Lip care tips

There are some ways to help take care of the skin of the lips, including:

  • Stay away from smoking: Smoking causes dark, wrinkled lips, and can also lead to oral cancer.
  • Apply sunscreen regularly: When exposed to harmful ultraviolet rays, the skin of the lips is exposed to cracks and burns, so you must apply a moisturizer that has a protection level of at least 15 degrees.
  • Drink enough water: Drinking water enhances skin moisture and prevents it from drying out and cracking. You should drink approximately 2 liters for women and 3 liters for men.
  • Follow a healthy and balanced diet: Lip problems can appear as a result of a deficiency of vitamin B and vitamin D, so you should take vitamins that promote lip health, such as tuna, salmon, dairy derivatives, and vegetables.
