- XNUMX tablespoons of oil
Setting method
- First, we boil and peel the veal tongue, and then in a pot, we brown the veal tongue over high heat in hot oil.
- After the tongue is well browned, we transfer it to another bowl.
- In the pot, put the flour on the fire, making sure to stir quickly to avoid the flour sticking to the bottom of the pot.
- When we notice that the color of the flour is starting to turn red, we add a little hot water. It is also possible to replace the water with hot meat broth.
- We leave the mixture on the fire for a few seconds, then add the tongue with all the necessary salt and spices.
- We close the pot and leave the tongue for about 3 hours on the fire until it is completely cooked.

- When the tongue is cooked, remove it from the broth.
- We filter the broth and put it after filtering it in an oven-safe bowl, adding the veal tongue to it again and putting them in the oven at a moderate temperature, and leaving it for a quarter of an hour.
