Artichoke is considered beneficial for pregnant women. It contains many important vitamins, including: folic acid or vitamin B9, and other vitamins and minerals, and it is also useful in the process of slimming and losing weight as it is low in calories and rich in fiber. Like any type of food, the best way to use artichokes is to eat them fresh, as they retain their nutritional elements. Artichokes in oil

Ingredients

How to prepare

  1. After you cut and prepare the artichokes, peel the carrots and cut them into circles. Bring a pot and put an appropriate amount of water in it with a small amount of salt. Place the artichokes, carrots, and peas in it until they are boiled until cooked.
  2. Bring a bowl and put the garlic in it, after mashing it well, and the lemon juice, and stir until the ingredients are mixed.

  1. Two bags of frozen artichokes.
  2. One bag of frozen peas.
  3. Five medium-sized carrots.
  4. Three cans of corn.
  5. One can of fresh chopped mushrooms.
  6. One bag of kidney beans.
  7. Two medium-sized tomatoes.
  8. One medium-sized onion.
  9. Three grains of garlic.
  10. One piece of quince.
  11. One bunch of coriander.
  12. Two tablespoons of toasted flour.
  13. Two teaspoons of garlic powder.
  14. One cup of lemon juice.

How to prepare

  5. In the meantime, add the mixture of onions, garlic and coriander to the vegetables after they are cooked, then add the lemon juice, salt and mixed spices while stirring, then drain the broth and reserve the broth.
  6. After the artichokes are cooked, drain them from the water, place them in a tray, and put an appropriate amount of the previous mixture inside each artichoke.
  7. Bring another pot, put the flour in it and toast it, then add the broth, garlic powder and an additional amount of lemon juice while stirring, then distribute some of the sauce over the artichokes, add the grated cheese and put the tray into the oven after heating it to a high temperature, then take it out. Artichokes with bechamel

Ingredients

  1. Two bags of frozen artichokes.
  2. Half a kilogram of minced meat.
  3. 5 medium-sized zucchini.
  4. Three cloves of garlic.
  5. One cup of cheddar cheese.
  6. A quarter cup of Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bechamel sauce.
  8. A quarter cup of pine nuts.
  9. Vegetable oil.
  10. Salt, to taste.
  11. Black pepper to taste.

How to prepare

  1. Cut the zucchini in half, remove the inside to create a cavity to place the filling, and bring a tray for the oven and place the artichokes and zucchini in it.
  2. Bring a frying pan and put some oil in it with the crushed garlic and minced meat, add salt and black pepper, stirring constantly until cooked.
  3. Fry the pine nuts in oil and add them to the meat.
  4. Prepare an appropriate amount of bechamel sauce, either using the ready-made mixture or preparing it at home using butter, flour, and liquid milk. Whatever you choose, after you finish preparing the bechamel sauce, add some cheddar cheese and salt and stir.
  5. Stuff the artichokes and zucchini with the minced meat and pine nuts, then add the béchamel sauce.

Artichokes stuffed with minced meat

Ingredients

  1. Four fresh artichokes.
  2. 150 grams of minced meat.
  3. Two cups of rice.
  4. Three medium-sized green onions.
  5. Two medium-sized tomatoes.
  6. Two tablespoons of tomato paste.
  7. A quarter bunch of parsley.
  8. One tablespoon of dill.
  9. Salt, to taste.
  10. Black pepper to taste.
  11. Three teaspoons of mixed spices.

How to prepare

  1. Peel the artichoke, keeping the inner leaves. Cut the tops of the leaves using scissors, but carefully. Then, clean the inner part of the artichoke from the thorns using a suitable spoon.
  2. Bring a bowl and put water with lemon juice in it, and leave the artichokes in it until they maintain their color without changing.
  3. Finely chop the green onions, one tomato, dill, and parsley.
  4. Bring another bowl and put the minced meat, green onions, tomatoes, dill, and rice in it. Add salt, black pepper, and mixed spices, mixing and stirring until the ingredients are distributed among themselves and combined.
  5. Stuff the artichokes with the previous filling, and cover the hole of each one with a slice of tomato and a small piece of butter.
  6. Bring a pot, put the artichokes in it, cover them with water, add the tomato paste diluted in hot water, and leave it to cook for about half an hour until it is cooked.
  7. When serving, remove the outer leaves and eat the stuffed artichokes.
