How to block websites

Unwanted websites are blocked from Internet Explorer 7 by following these steps:

Open an Internet page from a web browser.
Click on the Tools option to open the menu.
Click on Internet Options.
Click on the content tab option, and then click on the content advisor option.
Click on the enable option, and then use the tab to select the sites you want to block.

Use a router

The router is one of the best ways to block websites. It requires a password to enter any blocked site, and therefore it is difficult to re-hack blocked sites. It also allows sites to be blocked from all devices that use the same router. Sites are blocked using the router by following the following steps:

Connect to the router at home, by opening an Internet page, then going to the default router address, which is: http://192.168.1.1.
Open the settings menu (in English: settings), then click on one of the following options available on the router (because each router is different from the other): Click on the Security option (in English: Security), or the parental control option (in English: parental control), Or the firewall option, then block websites using one of the following methods:
- (URL Filter): This method is used by entering the URL of the sites you want to block.
- Parental control: This method is one of the latest ways to block websites, and it also allows parents to limit the intranet time available for use.
- Firewall: This method is available on most devices under Settings.
