Temporary files

Temporary files are uploaded to the computer when browsing the Internet, and sites in turn install temporary files on the computer, and thus they accumulate in the computer’s memory, which leads to taking up a large amount of space in them, and thus causes slowdowns in various computer systems, so they must be permanently deleted in order for the computer’s speed to improve. In this article, we will mention how to delete it in different ways.

Computer icon

• Open the computer, then click on the word My computer.
• Click on part C, then double-click on the right side of the mouse, then choose the word properties.
• Click on the word “disk cleanup” until the computer starts cleaning the hard disk.
• Wait for several minutes until the process starts scanning the temporary files on the device.
• Click on the temporary files you want to delete when they appear.
• Click on the word clean up system files.
• Wait for a while until the computer starts scanning the temporary files, then press OK.

list run

• Click on the run menu, which is opened by pressing the Windows symbol on the keyboard, then pressing the letter R.
• Write the following words in the Run list:
  • The first word is written as temp.
  • The second word is written as %temp%.
  • The third word is written the word Prefetch.
  • The fourth word, the word Recent, is written.
• Click on the word I agree or ok.
• Delete the temporary files that you want to delete, by pressing ctrl + A, then the word delete or delete in English.
• Repeat the same process to delete all temporary files that need to be deleted.

Internet browsers

• Open a web browser, then press ctrl + shift + delete simultaneously.
• Click on all the boxes that appear with the options, except for two options, which are form data and passwords. The reason is that these two options are for keeping private numbers and traditional forms.
• Click on Delete to clean the data on the browser.

Note: This method is used for the following Internet browsers: Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Google Chrome.

system.list

This method is used in Windows 10 and is as follows:

• Open the application settings, by clicking on the word Start.
• Click on the word system or the system icon with the mouse.
• Click on the word stronge, then go to the right side of the page and click on drive C.
• A page appears, containing various files, applications, games, and images.
• Click on the word Temporary files.
• Click on the word Delete Files, in order to get rid of excess files on the device.
