Homeland is the place that brings us back to childhood memories, reminds us of the tenderness of mothers, makes us feel the safety of fathers, and the love of grandparents.

Our love for our homeland does not need to be learned or pretentious, the love of the homeland comes by instinct, so who among us does not love the place to which he belongs and which expresses his being, and the heavenly religions have urged the love of the homeland, and this is embodied in the hadith of the Messenger of God - may God bless him and grant him peace - where he said when Expelled from Mecca: (What a country you are the best and most beloved to me, and had it not been for my people expelling me from you, I would not have inhabited anyone but you) (Narrated by Abdullah bin Abbas), every person sees his homeland as the most beautiful place in this world, and no matter how much he travels, he will still feel nostalgic for his homeland and the need to live and settle in it.

Patriotism resides in the hearts and appears in actions and words. What we write about the love of our homelands, in terms of sayings and poems, is an expression of these deep feelings. Our respect for the country’s various systems and laws is an expression of this love as well, and one of our duties towards it, just as preserving its land, water, and air from pollution. Vandalizing its public property and its various institutions is also a duty, and the duty of the nation extends to us to include that we represent it honorably in other countries, so that we do not offend it or harm its reputation with unkind deeds and words.

Affiliation and patriotism are manifested by participating in volunteer work that serves the community and the country, where there are many areas in which a person can volunteer, including: assisting cleaners in cleaning streets and public places, and participating in awareness campaigns in various fields, as these works spread the fragrance of love and solidarity between The members of society, and put a footprint for the individual in the development of his country so that his flag flies high among the banners of nations, and the individual of us must be keen to learn and develop his abilities to benefit his country and be a reason for its growth and advancement.

Patriotism is the duty of every zealous individual who lives on his land, gets sustenance from its bounties, and enjoys its safety. We must ask God to perpetuate the blessing of the homeland for us, to protect it for us from all evil, and to see it in the highest ranks with the help of its loyal sons.
